We are currently looking for emerging or established
talent for the following positions:

SHOP LABOURER / JOINERY APPRENTICE

We are looking for a candidate with experience in a millwork, cabinetry, door/window manufacturing, or other wood manufacturing and production.

Wage based on experience and expertise.

This is a Full-time position.

Responsibilities

  • Working and collaboration with a highly skilled team to create high end custom wood doors, windows, and other architectural woodwork

  • Works with Journeyman Joiners. Can work with little supervision.

  • Following provided production schedules and working with supplied documentation to ensure smooth and efficient flow of materials

  • Usage of all large and small power tools such as table saws, routers, and hand tools

  • Occasional work on job sites including delivery, installation of doors and wood products

Qualifications

  • Great attitude and willingness to learn with a strong work ethic.

  • Taking on all challenges with passion, optimism, and a solution focused attitude

  • Recent experience in woodworking facility

  • Experience processing either solid wood or wood-based materials

  • Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and/or a keen interest in learning

  • Good communication skills

  • Ability to maintain safety at all times through best practices on the production floor and in the workplace in general

·         Ability to do the physical requirements of the position (heavy lifting, pushing and pulling etc.)

  • Legally entitled to work in Canada

·         Valid Driver’s License
