Embodying West Coast Living

Karmanah Wood Design began in 2009 with the simple idea of making beautiful things from reclaimed and naturally fallen wood. Over time, it became apparent that there was a niche that needed to be filled. Canadians want to enjoy the beauty of the west coast wilderness in their homes, in a way that is sustainable and doesn’t negatively impact the environment. Since then, we have been striving to meet this need with beautifully crafted wood doors and furniture.

Life-long Passion

I have always had a passion for wood working since I was a young boy. I started in my father’s basement and my uncle introduced me to his cabinet-making trade at a young age. I knew early on that I needed to work with my hands.

Out of high school I started my 5 year apprenticeship at the age of 17 and started Karmanah at 25.

Wood is my creative outlet. Each piece I reclaim inspires me to be innovative and to build finely crafted products.
